The Falcons and GM Phil are excited they are about to get another season started and Phil has high hopes for this team and Coach Smith as well. The Fans are excited and can feel the vibe and things are looking up for the Falcons. The media asked GM Phil does he plan on making some roster moves, and Phil just said only time will tell but for now he is content that the team he has now will be a Super Bowl team.

GM PHIL HAS PULLED OFF A TRADE THAT BRINGS BACK MICHAEL VICK AND SOME OTHERS TO THE FALCONS. PHIL SAID HE HATED TO GIVE UP LOFTON AND ROBINSON BUT TO GET VICK BACK AND SOME OTHER CB WILL HELP US OUT IN THE LONG RUN, BUT THE QUESTION WAS ASKED HOW WILL COACH SMITH USE VICK WHEN THEY ALREADY HAVE RYAN AS THE QB ONLY TIME WILL TELL,

This game was all Falcons early and often. The Falcons came into this game wanting to prove that they are a team that can come out week in and out play with the best. The Falcons D only gave up a FG to the Steelers in the 1st half as they scored 17 points in the half to take a 17-3 lead into the half.
TURNER RUSHED FOR 2TD IN FIRST HALF
The 3rd quarter showed more of the Falcons D and showed that they could shut down any offense in league. The Steelers D also shut down the Falcons Offense in the Quarter but Big Ben made 2 big mistakes in the Quarter.
Ben would make yet another mistake later in the quarter
The Steelers who are a good team would not go down without a fight. The Steelers wouls start getting turnovers and the fans could feel that they were ready to make a big comeback in this one.
[b]The Steelers would get one last chance to try and get back even closer after scoring 21 unanswered points, Falcons scored on a 6yrd TD pass to Finneran. The Steelers needed a score to try and get an onside kick and newly Falcon Bradley would come up with a big INT to seal the deal. Good Game MrRighTNow818.

In the home Opener the Falcons had a let down for the fans and their GM Phil. The Falcons could really get anything started on the ground game as the Cards were stacking the box each and every time against the Falcons. The 1st quarter was just a good on defensive battle.
Ryan was pressured all game long
The 2nd was a back and fourth battle the Cards and Fitz would strike on a rocket catch by Fitz for a 12yrd TD pass.
Ryan would come back on the next drive and show that they are a team that can play regardless of the pressure that the cards was bringing from their stacked the line defense.
The Cards would add on a FG in the 2nd to make the score 10-7 going into the 3rd. The Cards would go back on the offensive and play great defense in the quarter and only give the Falcons a FG as they would add a 3yrd Benie Wells TD run.
The Cards would have a 17-10 lead going into the 4th. They would add another Wells TD run to make score 24-10. The Falcons knew they would need to score something and Vick would just do that as he hit Douglas for a 11yrd TD pass. The Falcons would stop the Cards on a three and out but could not muster up the offense to get it done in the end.
